The Concordia-Chicago cross-country teams came back after a week off from competition to run at the College of DuPage Invitational on Friday night.

The 22nd Annual Concordia University Wisconsin Invite in Mequon was the scene of numerous PRs (personal records) and season bests for the Concordia University Chicago Cougars as they competed in their third meet of the 2014 season today.

The second meet of the 2014 cross-country season presented some interesting challenges for the Concordia University Chicago teams.

Last year, the Concordia-Chicago men's cross-country team saw their opening competition at the Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational washed out by heavy storms.

The previous seasons have been ones of growth for the Concordia Cougars cross-country teams as they built to a successful 2014 season

Concordia University Chicago's 2013 men and women's cross-country teams have been named as NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams by the United States Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
